What are you working on this week? I'm working on so much I almost forgot it was Wednesday (hence this being posted so late in the afternoon). I've got so much going on this week, all of it exciting and fun!
In ceramics, Cetty and I needed a few more things to top off the kiln, so I whipped up some prototype bowls that I've had in my head for a while. They're using a texture mold of a tortoise, and I'm shaping the bowls - or at least trying to - a little bit longer than they are wide, to mimic the tortoise. Cross your fingers!
In soap, I'm making tons of soap this week. TONS. I've gotten the Earthy guest soap set poured that I have planned to release in a couple of weeks -- the bars still need to cure a little, then I can get them wrapped up and listed. I'm also working on some restocks, of course... and both the February and March bars to send out to my "Year of Soap" people. I won't be making soap again until late March, so I wanted to go ahead and get two months worth of work in there at once. My studio smells so GOOD right now, y'all!
In yarn, I'm on a bit of a break. I released a limited colorway and got January yarn club out about two weeks ago, and while I'm staring at the unwound February yarn, I don't have time to wind it up right now. And the yarn I ordered for March club has finally arrived, so I'll get to dyeing that up as soon as I can.
In knitting, I'm using a skein of my new limited edition color, Irish Butter, to knit a hat. I'm so happy with how it's turning out! I might have enough left over to pair it with a solid color and get a second hat out of it.... do you think I should pair it with Irish Coffee? Or Buttercream? Or something different that would match nicely with the two colors. Pretty in Pink, maybe?
In other things, I've finally got the start of the blog posts up about my bullet journal (check one post back here on the blog), I have another one already written and ready to post Monday, a draft of a third, and will write the fourth one in another week or so. Those will all post on Mondays, so keep your eye on the blog.
That's about it for me... what about y'all? What are you working on this week?
