New in the shop: Nesting Honeycomb Dishes

New in the shop: Nesting Honeycomb Dishes

Like bees to a flower, you're drawn to these flower-shaped nesting dishes, in the honeycomb (with bee) texture.

There are two sets, each with two dishes; a small set (here) and a medium set (here). The smaller of the two sets has a 5" dish and a 6" dish, and the larger of the two sets has a 7" and an 8" dish. The smaller ones will even fit inside the larger ones, if you need a set of all four!

These dishes are glazed with non-toxic glazes, and can be washed with hot soapy water or even run through the dishwasher in order to be cleaned. Each one is made by hand, slab-rolled, impressed, and hand-cut; while the glaze colors remain the same from firing to firing, the placement of the impression may change from dish to dish and your dish may be slightly different than photographed.

HaldeCraft ceramics begin life as slip-cast, hand-built, or wheel-thrown pieces and then are painted and glazed and put out into the world, all by the hands of one person. I learned ceramics like an old-school apprentice, at the feet of my grandmother who had a studio in the 1950s and 1960s, and many of the pieces I make incorporate now-vintage molds that she bought then. My pieces are unique, hand painted, and proudly made in my own home studio with confidence, mindfulness, and joy.

You can find the smaller set here, and the larger set here. Thanks, y'all!
