The January #planwithmechallenge (days 1-5)

Posted by A. Lorena Haldeman on

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I've been doing this challenge (geared towards planner nerds) called the #planwithmechallenge. I haven't been cross-posting it to the HaldeCraft Facebook and Google + pages because it's not really work related... well, it kind of is, in that I use my Bullet Journal the way some people probably use administrative assistants...  ANYWAY, a few of my tribe on Ravelry were interested in me doing some blog posts about it, because they're not on Instagram but are planner nerds (or want to be, muhuwahahaha, one of us! One of us!). Pretty much all I'm...

Show and Tell

Posted by A. Lorena Haldeman on

Did you know that today is Show and Tell Day? It's true. I read it on the Internet, so it must be true! So a couple of weeks ago I asked people to ask me questions, things I hadn't shown or told, and I got three responses -- to see the outside of the kiln, to talk about shipping, and to show the slab roller in action. Social Media

Social media! I might be a little crazy... but I love technology, so there ya go. Did you know that HaldeCraft is on... Facebook Google + Instagram Pinterest (note this started off as my personal Pinterest account but that I have a few HaldeCraft boards) Ravelry Twitter I have a small Etsy shop that I keep lightly stocked throughout the year with a combination of items that have consistently sold well on Etsy, items that are best sellers on my main shop, but also some things I'm thinking about moving out. And of course my main shop! (And I blog...

Wait, don't you already have a home?

Posted by 55799468 on

I must say, I do love WordPress. That's one thing I've missed since starting up HaldeCraft; a good blogging system! My little store does a lot, but "have a good blogging system" is not one of them. For about a year and a half now I've been missing categories, missing tags, missing the WP interface which I still use for my personal blog. But to move? Move the blog... again? I used to blog about HaldeCraft on my personal blog, but was worried that the occasional dropping of an f-bomb or Yet Another Pet Picture might turn off customers. Plus,...
