Like the excitement of a blind date (meeting someone new! what if we hit it off! what if we don't hit it off but I get a great story about it! what if it's love at first sight!) but not the actuality of the blind date (I watch way too much true crime to go on a blind date! what if they send a better-looking friend as a stand-in! what if they don't like dogs/cats!)....? How about a blind date you'll LOVE - a blind date with some yarn!

Three-packs have three skeins of yarn, in the same base and either the same or complimentary colors. The tissue paper it's wrapped in will give you a hint of the color family, but that's it - you won't know what the actual colors are until you get them in the mail. Plus, you get some extras. What are those extras? Well, the exact thing is a surprise, but you might get a set of stitch markers, or a handful of buttons, or a needle gauge. Or two out of the three of those things!

YOU WILL NOT WANT TO BUY THIS IF
- you don't like not having exact control over the color you're getting
- you want to know exactly what your extras are
- you are not OK with some of the price tags still being on the labels

YOU WILL APPRECIATE THIS MORE IF
- you don't have a specific project in mind that needs a specific colorway
- you like surprise gifts
- you're looking for a gift for a yarn lover in your life

HaldeCraft HandDyed yarns started life in 2007 in a small yarn store in Gainesville, Florida (Hanks Yarn and Fiber) and was then called "Perhaps Today is a Good Day to Dye". It has continued online as HaldeCraft HandDyed since 2011, and is hand-dyed and lovingly re-skeined in a small home studio by someone who loves the fiber arts just as much as you do. If you are looking for photos of yarn colorways or finished objects and are on Ravelry, you can find my yarn in their database; just look for "HaldeCraft HandDyed".

All of my yarns are hand-dyed singly or in batches of two.  As with all hand-dyes (not just my own) I recommend working from alternating balls on larger projects as even yarns dyed at the same time may not be perfectly matched.

This yarn was dyed in a smoke-free, but not pet-free studio; however, once dyed it is kept sealed in bags inside bins which studio dogs do not have access to.

HaldeCraft began with ceramics, soap, and yarn. I've been making ceramics since I was four years old, learning at the feet of my grandmother who had a home studio in the 50s and 60s. Currently I make slip-cast, hand-built, or wheel-thrown pieces (or a combination of all three) and then are painted and glazed and put through multiple kiln firings before being put out into the world. The yarn started life in 2007 in a small yarn store in Gainesville, Florida (Hanks Yarn and Fiber) and was then called "Perhaps Today is a Good Day to Dye". It has continued online as HaldeCraft HandDyed since 2011, and is hand-dyed and lovingly re-skeined in a small home studio by someone who loves the fiber arts just as much as you do. Making soap was a hobby that I had for years, and I started making soap for the yarn store, and continued when starting HaldeCraft. Lately I've picked up laser engraving, taking my craft to a whole new level. My pieces are unique, hand painted, and proudly made in my own home studio with confidence, mindfulness, and joy. Everything at HaldeCraft is created by hand, by me, in order to joyfully connect with you!
