Custom Photo Tile

Your pet. A favorite family photo. Wedding photos. Your childhood home. Your best photo from Instagram that got the most hearts. Photos are important to you; they capture a place and a moment in time. This tile is the perfect way to memorialize that.

This makes a wonderful, thoughtful gift for a variety of situations and recipients. Favorite pet photos make a lovely remembrance for a friend who has recently lost their dog or cat. Baby photos make wonderful gifts for new grandparents. Wedding photos make thoughtful and unique anniversary gifts. Photos of childhood homes are lovely remembrances for a sibling or other family member. 

Choose from a variety of colors for the background; the photo will always be sepia-toned. 

The tile itself is 6x6 inches, and the photo will be approximately 5x5 inches. Square format works better, because it covers most of the tile - landscape or portrait photos can be used but you will have a blank spot at either the sides or the top and bottom. 

You will need to email me the photo you would like on your tile. The photo should be high resolution, with a variety of light and dark contrast (very dark, monotone photos do not translate well to this medium), and in .jpg format. As mentioned above, square format is best. A portrait or landscape photo is fine to send me, because I can crop it squarely for you -- just be sure to tell me you would like it cropped squarely or if you would like it to remain in the original landscape or portrait format.

HaldeCraft ceramics begin life as slip-cast, hand-built, or wheel-thrown pieces and then are painted and glazed and put out into the world, all by the hands of one person. I learned ceramics like an old-school apprentice, at the feet of my grandmother who had a studio in the 1950s and 1960s, and many of the pieces I make incorporate now-vintage molds that she bought then. My pieces are unique, hand painted, and proudly made in my own home studio with confidence, mindfulness, and joy.
